General

What can I generate?
Generate QR codes that link to text content, combined images (converted to PDF), or uploaded PDFs. Provide a Name used as PDF page titles.
Do I need an account?
No — EaseQR is free to use without signup.
Are there file size or type limits?
Accepted uploads: JPEG images (.jpg/.jpeg) and PDF files. Large uploads may be compressed server-side; check server configured limits if you hit an error.

Usage & printing

How do I print QR-enabled menus?
Upload your PDF or multiple images (they’ll be merged to PDF). Use high-resolution images and test a printed sample to ensure scannability.
How large should printed QR codes be?
For typical smartphone cameras a 2–4 cm (0.8–1.6 in) printed QR at 300 DPI works for close-range scanning; increase size for longer distances or small cameras.

Privacy & security

Is my content stored?
Uploaded files are processed to create a QR destination. Storage and retention depend on your deployment; check server-side policies. Avoid uploading sensitive personal data unless you control the server.
Is the QR destination private?
QR codes point to a public URL. Treat shared QR links as public unless access control is implemented on the server.

Troubleshooting

QR doesn't open my file
Confirm you scanned the QR with a standard reader; try opening the link directly in a browser. If the upload failed, regenerate the QR after re-uploading.
I get an upload error
Check file type and size. Also see browser console and server logs for detailed error messages.
